Social workers and educators follow ethical guidelines to make informed decisions in practice. This presentation will take a deeper understanding of ethical guidelines, dilemmas, and how it impacts our personal and professional decisions. There will be time to reflect how our value system and experiences may impact our decision making. This presentation will also include education, discussion, and hands on activities to understand ethics related to YOU.
- Participants will increase self-awareness and an understanding of the interplay of personal values and professional behaviors.
- Participants will increase their ability to recognize ethical dilemmas.
- Participants will develop a resolution framework that is practical in the professional environment.
Two continuing education hours will be awarded for Illinois Social Workers and Professional Counselors. Registration deadline is February 20, 2019.
