Heading Back to School: Engaging our Students, Educators and Families

During this two-hour virtual training, Jacqueline Rhew will present her Whole Child Engagement Approach, guiding an interactive discussion around interventions and strategies to promote active school engagement. There will be a special emphasis placed on supporting students, educators and families who have struggled during the past year.
Workshop Learning Objectives Include:
- Learn ways to create trauma sensitive learning environments that promote relationships and engagement for ALL students
- Be prompted to self-reflect on your student’s beliefs and mindsets, especially how personal reactions can impact the confidence, motivation and engagement of students
- Gain strategies to respond to and assess the needs behind the behaviors that our students display
- Discuss interventions in the school, home and community setting that promote school attendance and engagement

It is free to register for this webinar. If you would like 2.0 Continuing Education Units (CEUs) for Illinois Social Workers and Professional Counselors the cost is $10. The cost of CEUs must be paid online at time of registration. CEUs will be issued when the evaluation form is received.
